Sithonia, Halkidiki—From April 9 to 12, 2025, the heart of Halkidiki will host the 9th Student Radio Festival. This dynamic international event brings together students, educators, and radio enthusiasts from Greece, Cyprus, France, Germany, and beyond. Hosted by the European School Radio organization and supported by the Municipality of Sithonia and Porto Carras Grand Resort, this festival has become a cultural institution in northern Greece.
A Creative Explosion of Music, Media, and Learning
The festival is not just about fun – it’s a learning experience. Backed by the Ministry of Education, the event features hands-on workshops, creative labs, live radio broadcasts, and DJ shows. High school students and young creatives from dozens of schools gather to exchange ideas and co-create live radio and music content.
One of the festival’s most exciting features is the “School in the Mix” DJ Party, where student DJs from across Europe perform live. Additional workshops will take place in picturesque locations like Metaggitsi, Nikiti, and Neos Marmaras, showcasing local traditions such as baking village-style bread and organizing theater performances.
